Group Configuration
Group Configuration page displays a list of policies. The list can be filtered on the basis of policy name.
How to link an employee group to a policy?
1. Click pencil(edit) icon of any policy name. Following pop up window will open.
2. Select the employee groups you want to link with the policy.
Note: You cannot select employee groups with common employees.
3. Click Update button. Employee groups will be linked to the policy.
Impact in Alt Worklife
Lets take an example of a group, Grade5 with grade value J5 under it and Grade5 group is linked to notice period policy with notice period set as 30 days.
Now in Alt Worklife, if J5 grade is selected for an employee then Grade5 group will be automatically mapped with this grade along with the notice period policy linked to the group. The notice period will be computed as 30 days for the employee.
Likewise, there are other policies for different modules in the application to which an employee group can be linked.
